Ahmad Aliwi Al Issa, [April 17, 1999. Syria] suspected, accused mass shooter at Boulder, CO, outside a King Soopers grocery on March 22, 2021

Ten victims of the shooting ranged from ages 20-65, including the first police officer Eric Talley, father of 7, who rushed first to the scene. Some stood on line to get the vaccine.

In court days later, he was accused also of trying to kill another police officer.

Ahmad bought a Ruger AR-556 six days earlier (passing background checks) and was seeing "playing" with machine gun earlier (yet, family did not contact authorities). He methodically chose his victims. When an eldery man fell, he stood upon him and shot him. He was laughing while massacring.

He was previously known to the F.B.I. because he was linked to another individual under investigation by the bureau.

He used to post online devotedly, extensively about Islam. And in Apr 14, 2019 wrote that he is happy, unlike so many with fake smiles, adding "#stopactinglike a fag."

Years earlier he threatened to kill "everybody". He was arrested in 2017 for violently attacking a classmate.

He portrayed himself as a victim. “He would talk about him being Muslim and how if anybody tried anything, he would file a hate crime and say they were making it up,” witness said.

He posted devout Islamic posts.

The family emigrated from Syria in 2002.

Ahmad has been living with his parents in Arvada, CO. His father Moustafa Alissa [March 10, 1959, Syria] posted anti-Christian anti-Jewish pro Arab-Palestine and racist anti Obama posts. QIncluding citing that "ISIS was is made" by "impure black Obama" [sic] and that Shiites are "just like Christians and Jews and what they know that they are just stray animals, God created them for hell exclusively." [Sic].

That "Palestine is Arab and will remain Arab." [Sic] That "Trump and the stinky Yahweh swim opposite the current Palestine is Arab." [Sic] that "Turkey and its government advocates the vulnerable and rakes their hand and applies the slogan of the Islamic brothers, so for the sake of Allah and its enemies, all of them, the first of them Arab rulers for the sake of Satan, and I do not think the soldiers of Satan will win." [Sic].

That his son-in-law told the sun-times that he is "distraught," came after Moustafa's posting were exposed online.

His brother owns the family restaurant 'Sultan Grill.'

Liberals rushed to blame "white man" before the shooter as an Arab Muslim was revealed.

Chief Herold said at a news conference that police officers had run into the King Soopers grocery store within minutes of the shooting and had shot at the suspect.

Hernandez said Alissa frequently appeared to be paranoid about perceived slights against him, and Marvel said Alissa was often concerned about being targeted because of his Muslim faith.

In 2017, Alissa, then 18, attacked a classmate at Arvada West High School, according to an affidavit filed in the case. He punched the classmate in the head without warning, and when the boy fell to the ground, Alissa continued to punch him. The classmate suffered bruises and cuts to his head, according to the affidavit.

(Reuters) -Two days before police say Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa armed himself with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle and a handgun and donned a tactical vest, he sat in his Arvada, Colorado, home fiddling with a gun.

The sight alarmed his family. The gun did not look like a rifle featured in old Western movies, Alissa’s sister-in-law told police, according to an arrest affidavit. Rather, it looked like a “machine gun.”

Alissa said a bullet had become stuck. The family took it away from him, upset he was playing with a gun in the house.

On Monday, police said, the 21-year-old man stormed a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder and killed 10 people with a spray of bullets.

BOULDER, Colo. — The suspect in the Boulder King Soopers shooting was identified Tuesday as a 21-year-old Arvada man whose only previous charge was for a third-degree assault that a 2018 affidavit says occurred in 2017.

The Boulder Police Department (BPD) on Tuesday named the suspect as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, born April 17, 1999.

We know now that the man who shot up a grocery store Monday in Boulder, Colorado, is an immigrant from Syria named Ahmad al Aliwi Alissa. In the context of recent history, this means there's reason to think he might be a Muslim terrorist. But saying that aloud will get you called a racist by the media.

For now, we'll just have to pretend that this is another "lone wolf" who in no way fits into the totally not-real pattern (according to the media) of mass violence perpetrated by Muslim extremists in places as far-flung as Mumbai, Rouen, and Chattanooga and as close as Miami, San Bernardino and New York.

Ahmad’s family believe he is mentally ill, and his defense lawyer has asked for an evaluation of his mental health. Nevertheless, there is also evidence that he has been radicalized by Islamist organizations using ideology to achieve political gains.

His father’s social media accounts suggest that Moustafa is very fond of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Muslim Brotherhood, and he openly expresses anti-US and anti-Israel views. “Israel is the ruler of the US and Trump was created by the Zionists,” Moustafa posted in March 2019. He adds that, as an Israeli agent, Trump obeys his masters’ orders. Other statements suggest that the father is a misogynist who supports polygamy.

In a Facebook post in March 2019, Ahmad said the 51 Muslims who died when a gunman opened fire that month in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, were not victims of a single shooter, but “victims of the entire Islamophobia industry that vilified them.”

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and a senior fellow at the Center for Security Policy, said the social media posts of both father and son appeared to be right out of the Islamist propaganda textbook. “The shooting may be another in a long list of instances where Islamist groups radicalize vulnerable, disgruntled and mentally ill individuals to commit acts of violence,” he said.

Such attacks put moderate Arabs and Muslims in the US in a dark corner, struggling between their own peaceful way of life and the political agenda of radical Islamism. While several Islamist entities flourish on American soil under the pretext of freedom of religion and human rights, inspired by “woke” culture and supported by “progressives,” the vast majority of moderate Muslims have no serious support to stand against the radicals who are the real enemy of Muslims around the world.

Only American Muslims themselves can defeat Islamist extremism, erase this horrible picture and be part of the solution — instead of being silent because they lack understanding, support, and media platforms.
